I
started oil painting when I was 12. I studied with master
painter
Jan Valentine Saether of Norway, when he had relocated
to Los Angeles in the 80's.
I have been teaching old master techniques for the past 19
years. Because of my love of beauty in nature, and people,
I paint
mainly figurative realism, portraits and landscapes, but also
venture into mandalas and still lives. |

believe it is extremely important for people to have
some form of creative outlet. Without the use of our
imaginations, or lives can not be whole.
