bio: I am a self-taught abstract painter. Throughout our day we are bombarded by people and things that try to persuade us or alter our point of view. For me it’s important that my art be beautiful, but also to a certain extent for it to be neutral, its meaning open to the viewers interpretation. They can exist only as an arrangement of colors, or they can conjure memories and represent specific scenes or feelings.
on the importance of art:

Art allows us to see ourselves and our world from the perspective of beauty rather than function. Art creates an isolated world where food is something rich in color and form rather than merely a consumable and nature is not something that merely surrounds us or needs tending but which is luscious and graceful and shows us our profound beauty.
