| bio: |
Jillian
was born where the north Cascade Mountain range ends and
the desert gorges of Eastern Washington begin. most of
her childhood was spent avoiding bullies, eating apples,
and looking for pots of gold rumored to be hidden along
the great Columbia River Valley. She picked up a pen at
an early age and still has not found any reason to put
it down. |

the importance of art: |
It
is silly to think our thoughts are so simple they can
be translated exclusively using words or gesture. Society
needs art to know that there is another way to share
the thoughts that escape our comprehension and appear
in a language that needs no other interpretation other
than fondness or disregard. We need it to feel something
when we are unable to listen anymore.
