bio:

I've been painting forever!
From college, public workshops and private lessons, art has always been my main area of study. For a dozen years, I was the Artist/Illustrator for the Instructional Materials Center of David Douglas School District. I've done a lot of freelance and commission work, am involved in several art shows and belong to three art associations. Direct sales of my original work is mosly what I do now. But there is always more to learn ant that is what keeps art exciting.

on the importance of art:

"There should be no question as to the importance of art -- any of the arts. The chance to give expression to the creative process is what enlivens the personal experience and enriches the entire community. without art, society would be static and unproductive."
