bio: Eve Kenyon’s work has been displayed in a variety of museums, colleges, galleries, juried shows and other public places. Her work is part of private, academic and corporate collections. Her pastel, "Sauvie Island," was selected for inclusion in the Vision of Portland presented by American Express, a project to benefit Young Audiences.
An art educator for more than 25 years, Eve provides one-to-one instruction in her studio and leads workshops in the Pacific Northwest. Eve developed and then instructed the first art program in a rural elementary school for ten-years and was a visiting / resident artist in southwestern New Hampshire.
on the importance of art:

 “Art is a form of communication. To create and be engaged with art (visual art, music, dance, multi-mixed media, etc.) is a very human activity. Through their personal need to create, artists express, examine and enhance humanity within the society they live.”
