I was born in the Pacific Northwest and can't imagine living anywhere else. Inspired by the way color, light and shadow interact, I have endless challenges in my work. I want my work to invite the viewer's imagination to run with mine, whether it's a landscape, portrait, wildlife or fantasy. |

"All societies create art in some form. I don't think a fully functional society is possible if it doesn't include art. The arts allow us access to truths about society, ourselves and the personal truths of the artist's interpretations that cannot be readily expressed through any other means."
